Beautiful breakfast spread

the check-in was perplexingly difficult, apparently a picture of my passport wasn't enough, even with a promise to bring the original. the pool area had more mosquitos than decorum, and to top it off, I didn't receive a complimentary welcome gift which would have been a nice touch after all that fuss.

The pool area was lovely, but the bed was quite hard.

The ambiance, the pools, the spacious bathrooms, the terraces – a delightful retreat!

this stay was far better than my last trip to florence. we enjoyed the spacious quadruple room with a lovely garden view. breakfast was delightful, featuring fresh pastries and organic juices, which made it a memorable experience.

wifi was spotty in the room.

The location in tranquil parkland allows for a peaceful walk into the bustling city, with beautiful grounds that provide exceptional views and charm. The exterior architecture combined with intricate interior designs creates a memorable atmosphere. The ability to relax in the pool area surrounded by nature after a day of exploration truly enhances the experience.

Wi-Fi service is inconsistent, making it challenging to stay connected during my adventure.

The spacious Gardinia room offered stunning night views from the balcony, perfect for winding down. The walk to the Ponte Vecchio bridge took about 20 minutes and passed by the house of Galileo's family, adding an intriguing historical touch to the stroll.

The distance to the city center requires a solid 40 minutes on steep terrain, which could be exhausting, especially on the return trip. The pool water was far too cold for comfort, and the limited menu choices for lunch and dinner forced me to eat out frequently. Wi-Fi access was hit or miss, making it tricky to stay connected. The lack of in-room coffee facilities was disappointing, and while I appreciated the size of the room, the temperature control wasn’t great—definitely not ideal during warmer months. the noise between rooms could be disruptive, which made for less-than-ideal sleeping conditions at times.

I had a fantastic two-night stay, enjoying the gorgeous breakfast on the terrace and the refreshing pool after sightseeing. I missed having a coffee area available earlier in the day.

great historic charm but minor room comfort

The historic ambiance combined with the beautiful grounds truly enhanced our stay. We enjoyed breakfast outdoors on the lovely veranda, surrounded by the serene garden view, which added a delightful touch. The friendly and professional staff went above and beyond to assist us during our visit.

The room could have been slightly more comfortable for our preferences.

Beautiful views and relaxing atmosphere

Staying in a Superior Double Room allowed us to enjoy stunning views of Florence from our terrace, particularly enchanting at sunset. We indulged in a delightful breakfast with options like fresh pastries and a selection of cheeses while soaking in the tranquility of the beautifully maintained gardens. The peaceful pool area provided a perfect backdrop for relaxation after a day of sightseeing, featuring ample loungers surrounded by nature. the walk back from the city center can be a steep trek, so plan accordingly!

The breakfast offered both scrambled and hardboiled eggs. I appreciated the charming outdoor terrace views. The suites were spacious with comfortable mattresses. Staff were attentive and helpful. Great coffee machine available!
